Hi, I’m Teresa. I’m originally from Portugal, and my personal and professional journey has taken me across several countries, including England, Denmark, and now South Korea. Living and working in different cultural contexts has shaped both who I am and how I understand emotional wellbeing. I know firsthand what it is like to navigate life between cultures, to adapt, to start over, and to build a sense of home in unfamiliar places.
Now raising my children in a multicultural environment, I continue to experience the joys and challenges of identity, belonging, and transition. These lived experiences strongly inform the way I connect with clients, particularly those navigating cultural adjustment, life changes, or the feeling of being “in between” worlds. I aim to offer a warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your experiences at your own pace and feel supported as you make sense of your inner world.
CLINICAL APPROACH
I am currently completing my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and working as an extern at Healing Together. My clinical interests include multicultural counseling, and I am especially mindful of the impact culture, migration, and lived experience have on mental health. After completing my degree, I plan to pursue additional training in trauma-informed care to further support clients with sensitivity and depth.

INTERESTS, HOBBIES, & FUN FACTS
Outside of the therapy space, I enjoy long nature walks as a way to disconnect and reset, and I love traveling with my family to explore new places, cultures, and ways of living. I have a strong curiosity about people, stories, and the ways we make meaning wherever we land, and I bring that curiosity into my work with clients.
