Healing Together Therapy & Wellness Center was founded in 2022 with the purpose of providing accessible, affordable, and inclusive care to English-speaking residents of Korea and throughout Asia.
➢ Our Mission
To improve accessibility to quality counseling and coaching services to the English-speaking community throughout Asia, including returning Koreans (1.5/2nd Gen & Korean Adoptees), expats, multicultural families, international students, and military personnel and family, by offering services that are affordable and inclusive.

To create diverse programs and services dedicated to supporting the multicultural and multilingual communities in South Korea and Korean nationals in order to reduce the stigma of mental health struggles and build supportive connections.

Creating strong relationships
Building strong, meaningful relationships is a basic need for all of us, especially when we’re thousands of miles away from what’s familiar. We value building relationships within our community and helping our clients do the same.
Serving the community
It is our mission to improve the availability and accessibility to quality therapy and coaching services to English-speakers residing in Asia through community involvement, speaking engagements, online psychoeducational resources, and affordable programs and services.
Promoting inclusion
We strive to make our practice and space be inclusive to all. We also promote hiring providers of varying backgrounds, beliefs, and specialties to better serve the diverse and unique experiences of our clients. It’s also important that our office promotes a foundation of diversity, equity, and inclusivity in its culture and practice.
Investing in quality
We promote continued education for our coaches and therapists through training in diverse practices so clients can feel safe knowing their provider is always growing in their skill. In addition, our Resident and Senior Resident therapists provide services under the supervision of a Licensed Therapist and are required to participate in ongoing training to enhance their knowledge and skills.

Healing Together Therapy and Wellness Center is the product of Ella Chang’s vision for accessible services for English-speakers in Korea and throughout Asia.
As a Korean-American who has lived in Korea, she has a unique understanding of the challenges associated with living as an expat.

Our therapists and coaches are global citizens and come with lived experiences that are rich and uniquely their own, all the while being ever-so relatable to the experiences of the communities of Korea residents whom we wish to serve – they’re 1.5 and 2nd generation Korean Americans, expats who fell in love with Korea and call it their home, members of multicultural families, and Korean adoptees on their own journey of reconnecting with their birth country and culture. We believe that these lived and shared experiences allow our therapists and coaches to support our clients with an abundance of empathy, compassion, understanding, and insight.

Offering services online allows us to fulfill our mission of providing accessible, affordable, and inclusive therapy and coaching for English speakers in Korea and throughout Asia.
✔️ Accessible - Utilizing telehealth technology allows us to offer services to individuals, couples, and families in Seoul and more remote parts of the country.
✔️ Affordable - Operating remotely allows us to save on office space and management fees. We pass these savings on to you.
✔️ Inclusive - As a remote team with therapists and coaches who live in Korea, the U.S. and elsewhere in the world, we can connect our clients with clinicians who represent diverse identities and have unique specializations.

Work With Us!
Introducing our 12 month internship/externship program. We are looking for students currently in or recently graduated from a Master’s counseling and social work program who are willing to provide online therapy up to 12 hours per week.
Our Interns/Externs are affiliated with a graduate degree program in clinical/counseling psychology that are guided by an intern agreement or they hold a masters degree (MS or MA) in a related field of psychology but are not yet qualified to be provisionally licensed. These positions require both clinical and non-clinical responsibilities. Students must currently be residing in the United States or already have plans to relocate to South Korea.

Services We Provide

Individual Therapy
We provide individual therapy for children, teens, and adults who have a wide range of mental health concerns. We tailor the experience according to each individual’s need as an English-speaking expat, 1.5/second-generation Korean, or Korean adoptee.

Couples Therapy
We provide relationship therapy to couples navigating traditional relationship challenges as well as those due to language or cultural gaps. Our therapists and coaches can help you nourish, deepen, or repair your relationship.

Family Therapy
We provide family therapy that addresses concerns typical to the family life cycle as well as the stress of adjusting to a foreign culture at all ages and all levels of excitement about the change.

Coaching Services
Through individual sessions with our coaches, you will find support, motivation, and actionable steps outlined toward the change you’d like to create in your life.

Group Therapy
We provide several group therapy options that connect you with a like-minded community of individuals who are pursuing personal growth and self-discovery through the group format.
